The Ospreys were formed as the Neath-Swansea Ospreys in 2003, playing in the Celtic League, EDF Energy Cup and the Heineken Cup/European Challenge Cup. At the start of the 2005-6 season, they dropped Neath and Swansea from their name to become simply the Ospreys, although the company is still Neath-Swansea Ospreys.

Ospreys Ground

The Ospreys play their home games at the 20,000 capacity Liberty Stadium, Landore, Swansea SA1 2FA. The ground has been home to some titantic battles and the Ospreys hope and intend to retain the tradition of it beinga touch place to visit. They share the ground with Swansea football club.

Black and Whites Shirt

The Ospreys wear mainly Black grey and white kit for their home games and change to the reverse for away games. The shirt has been pulled on by the pretty boy of Welsh rugby Gavin Henson along with names such as: Adam Jones (Prop), Duncan Jones, Stefan Terblanche, Shane Williams, Brent Cockbain, Sonny Parker, Ryan Jones, Richie Pugh, Filo Tiatia, Lee Byrne, Alun Wyn Jones and the mercurial scrum-half Justin Marshall.
