Glasgow Warriors were originally founded in 1872, The Glasgow Warriors, formerly Glasgow Rugby, is one of three professional rugby union teams in Scotland, Edinburgh and Border Reivers being the other two. Like the others they play in the Celtic League and Heineken Cup, though they did not enter the Heineken Cup until the 1997-8 season.
Glasgow's Hughenden Stadium
The Warriors play their home games at the Hughenden Stadium, 32 Hughenden Road, Glasgow G12 9XP capacity 5,500. The stadium has been their home apart from a short sojourn to the 10,000 capacity Firhill Stadium home to Partick Thistle Football Club.
Jerseys of Glasgow Warriors
Glasgow play their home games in pale blue and black shirts ,black shorts and blue socks, the away strip shirt is all black. The colours have been pulled on by some well known Scottish players such as: Dan Parks, Jon Petrie, Donnie Macfadyen, Scott Lawson, Justin Va'a, Gordon Bulloch, Jason White, Sean Lamont and Kenny Logan.
