The Cayman Rugby Union was founded in 1971 as the Cayman Rugby Football Club, they changed the name in 1997 when joining the International Rugby Board and forever became the Cayman Rugby Union responsible for all branches of Rugby, its development, administration and officiating in the islands. The Cayman Islands are located South of Cuba between Mexico and Jamaica. The Islands boast great weather and a wide variety of unique tourist attractions.
Rugby Jerseys of the Cayman Isles
The Cayman islands play their home games in blue shirts. The shirt features in the Cancun Cup V Mexico, Bermuda Challenge Cup v Bermuda, The Becks Cup v Bahamas and the Mayfair Cup V Jamaica. It is unlikely it will ever feature in the finals of the Rugby World Cup.
