Basingstoke secured their league status for next season with a wonderful hard fought win away to old rivals Weston-Super-Mare. Yet again Basingstoke travelled with a young side as injuries continued to ravage the squad.  In a superb display against a very physical home side Basingstoke came out worthy winners following tries by Karl Buttle and Simon Buckland, both converted by Mike Goodall who also slotted a penalty of give us the final score of
