ITV4 to show Premiership Highlights on Sundays
For all you fans who do not know already ITV4 will be airing an hour long highlights show on Sundays during peak times of the weekends premiership Rugby games. The show will then repeat on ITV1 but on Tuesday nights. Great news for all the fans who have been calling for a highlights programme to return. Also good news that it will feature on terrestrial TV.

I don’t find it very fair, if you are only showing 30 seconds of certain games, ie Newcastle V Sale, and then showing more or less the whole game of the Liecester V Glouster game and other games. I was disgusted when i watched it because my family don’t have sky and was looking forward to a good game of rugby. Please could you sort this out and make the showing of all games fair so you egt a good amount of the game played.

Thanks for your comment, it does seem a shame that the games that get a lot of exposure also feature heavily on the highlights shows. I think it is partly because they only have one camera for the non televised games and highlights so the visual coverage is not as good and so they just show snippets. Unfortunately coverage is outside our control, we just let our readers know it was on.
