Basingstoke storm to their highest points win of the season. Playing against opposition who never gave up, Stoke stayed focused from start to finish and were well worth this high scoring win.

The visitors had the first chance of taking points when the third penalty in as many minutes allowed the visitors to go for a shot at goal. This was missed and the tone for the day set as Dave Lambert opened the scoring for Basingstoke on 7 minutes converted by Mike Goodall.
