Basingstoke suffered a defeat away to Hertford on Saturday 22nd September as 5 yellow cards ruined any continuity.  Basingstoke went 9-0 down but fought back to 9-9 at half-time.  But that was as good as it got as the side lost 36-12.  The only points from Basingstoke came from Mike Goodall with 4 penalties.  We will need to play to the referee if we want to win games in this competitive league.
