Basingstoke produced the goods to win the second away game convincingly. Stoke played into the wind in the first half turned round at half time 8-0 up from a Caan Childs try and Mike Goodall penalty. The second half Stoke cranked things up and although conceding points never looked as if they would relinquish the lead as further scores were posted by Dave Lambert, Myles Rutherford, Andy Rowlands, Tom Northcote and Caan Childs with his second. Mike Goodall converted 4 of these to add to his first half penalty. A good result for the club.
